Brett Leitner is a trial attorney who represents victims of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, construction accidents, and other catastrophic injuries. He has recovered more than $200 million for his clients.

Brett founded Leitner Warywoda, where he and his team handle complex injury and wrongful death cases across New York State. He is regularly retained on high-profile matters and has been featured in The New York Times, Newsweek, New York Post, Daily News, New York Law Journal, ABC News, and CBS News.

Before launching his own firm, Brett served as a senior trial attorney in the Nursing Home Litigation Unit of a nationally recognized personal injury and mass tort firm. He began his career at AMLAW 100 and AMLAW 200 firms, where he represented major corporate clients in litigation, trial, and appellate matters — experience that sharpened the skills he now deploys on behalf of injured individuals and families.

Brett earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he received an academic scholarship and served on the Journal of International and Comparative Law. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
