Gerard Ryan III, Esq.
Admitted 2013 — New York State Bar · J.D. 2012 — Hofstra Law · B.S. — Biomedical Engineering
Gerard Ryan is a trial attorney focusing on mass torts, defective medical devices and product liability, class actions, medical malpractice, and serious personal injury across New York and New Jersey. He builds cases from the medicine outward — starting with the records and the standard of care, not after mediation fails.
Biography
He came to law from biomedical engineering, and that advanced technical background shapes how he takes apart device-failure and medical-negligence claims — the ability to read the record the way the defense experts do. Colleagues know him for a client-focused practice grounded in ethical advocacy.
Before joining Leitner Warywoda, Gerard served as Senior Litigation Counsel at Parker Waichman LLP, where he played a key role in significant personal injury and mass-tort matters. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and is active in continuing legal education.
